About Arisa
Feb. 19th, 2013 10:38 pmArisa is a character from the second generation of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. She's a member of the Diva's mobile suit squadron, under the command of Woolf Enneacle. At that time in the series, she is seventeen years old. Like the other members of the squad, Arisa is a rookie pilot who is experiencing the chaos of the battlefield for the first time. She is the daughter of Dique Gunhale. Here is a picture of her.
Her personality is very big, friendly, and gung-ho when she's on the ground. Arisa takes quickly to people and is very tactile, draping herself on her friends and smacking them on the butt if they're gloomy (which she claims is a tradition in her family). She likes to laugh and tease, but her affection is genuine. It does take her some time to get used to fighting, but she doesn't get gloomy over her failures and tries her best to look out for her wingmates. However, she refuses to speculate on what her enemies are like--she considers it a waste of time when they're trying to kill each other.
By the Battle of Big Ring, Arisa has become an acceptable mobile suit pilot--not great, but not so visibly green as she was at the start either. When not in battle she has much stronger technical skills at piloting. As a soldier, she's also trained in the use of a sidearm.
